Soundboard Repairs at Pitt Street Uniting Church

Last week saw more progress being made at Pitt Street Uniting Church Sydney.

The Swell and Great pipework have been completely removed and cleaned and are ready to be returned. The project and team is being supervised by Imogen which is her first major task after returning from working for Klais in Germany.

Simon and Jordan inspected the splits and cracks in the Swell soundboard and a method was worked out how to repair these unfortunate faults. Jordan and David have been working on the repairs so the Swell pipework can be returned.

The showfront pipes have also been cleaned and are soon being installed back in place so the organ looks great for Christmas!

Great work done by the team in NSW while the two teams of Lachlan & Andy and Richard & Emma are Christmas tuning in Queensland. Simon is manning the desk to deal with mounting paperwork. 😁🎶
